The first application for lithium PSA in Ukraine was submitted from the USA

On Tuesday, February 1, 2022, a meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission on the Organization of the Conclusion and Implementation of Product Distribution Agreements (PSA) is being convened. NADRA.info reports with reference to its own source in the Government. The information about convening the meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission was also confirmed by three members of the commission.

It is expected that the meeting will take place in the afternoon on the premises of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.

The reason for the meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission was the application of a foreign company, which is asking the Government for a tender for a subsoil area with deposits of lithium ores for the conclusion of a PSA.

"There is a letter from an investor who is interested in lithium mining. And he asks to consider the possibility of holding a competition on PSA. The legal entity that applied is registered in the USA," People's Deputy of Ukraine Andriy Zhupanyn (PP "Sluha Narodu") told NADRA.info.

The Ukrainian Geological Survey was unofficially informed that the name of the applicant company contains the word combination "Privateer Capital", and it is interested in the section of Dobra lithium ores.
