Oleh Hotsynets is the new Head of the Ukrainian Geological Survey
At its meeting on November 29, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine appointed Oleh Hotsynets as the head of the Ukrainian Geological Survey. This was reported by MP Oleksiy Honcharenko.
Experience
Oleh Hotsynets was the head of the subsoil use department at Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC, the largest subsoil user in Ukraine. The company has hundreds of special permits for oil and natural gas production.
Mr. Hotsynets also worked as a project manager at Naftogaz of Ukraine and is an expert at the State Commission on Mineral Resources.

As ExPro previously reported, the Cabinet of Ministers dismissed Roman Opimakh from the post of head of the Ukrainian Geological Survey at a meeting on November 8 after his 5-year term. Serhiy Dekhtyarenko was appointed as the acting head of the Ukrainian Geological Survey.
