ExxonMobil froze 9 out of 10 joint projects with "Rosneft"

American ExxonMobil said that because of sanctions collapses almost all the activities in Russia. The company came out of the nine joint projects with "Rosneft". The representative of Exxon Alan Jeffers told RBC that the company complied with the requirement of the authorities to curtail the activities of the United States to the Russian Federation, and by 26 September came out of the majority of joint projects with "Rosneft". In accordance with the strategic agreement between ExxonMobil and "Rosneft" was 10 joint projects, including exploration and development of the Russian shelf of the Black Sea and in the Arctic, as well as projects in Western Siberia. Jeffers did not comment as curtailing operations in Russia will affect the terms of Exxon and will respond if American personnel from Russia. According to him, the American sanctions have not touched the project "Sakhalin-1", in which Exxon owns 30% and operates the project. And the president of "Rosneft" Igor Sechin has said that if one of the partners will be forced to withdraw from the joint projects, it will have "the option to return."
