Investments in oil and gas sector in Azerbaijan rose by more than 28%

In January-September 2014 in the oil and gas sector in Azerbaijan has invested about 4.41 mmlrd manat, which is 28.2% more than the same period last year. This is stated in the report of the State Committee on Statistics of the country in the first nine months of 2014, reports Trend.
In 2013, the oil and gas sector in Azerbaijan has invested more than 4.82 billion manat, which is 24.2% more than in 2012. According to the State Statistics Committee, in January-September, the total investment in the industrial sector in Azerbaijan amounted to 5.35 billion manat, which is 5.4% more than the same period of 2013. Of these funds over the period for the mining industry has invested 4.4 billion manat, which is 27.5% more than in January-September 2013.
The total volume of capital investments in the industrial sector of Azerbaijan in 2013 amounted to 7.08 billion manat, which is 16.4% more than in 2012. Of these tools in the mining industry has invested about 4.7 billion manat, which is 20.6% more than in 2012. Investments in generation, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and heat in January-September this year amounted to 197.1 million manat, which is 7.6% less than the same period of 2013.
Investments in generation, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and heat in 2013 amounted to 390.5 million manat, which is 31.5% less than in 2012.
