The Regulation on the State Service of Geology and Mineral Resources of Ukraine

The Regulation on the State Service of Geology and Mineral Resources of Ukraine. The decree of the Cabinet of Ministers № 1174 adopted December 30, 2015 the State Service of Geology and Mineral Resources of Ukraine (Derzhheonadra) is the central body of executive power with activity directed and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine through the Minister of Environment and implements the state policy in the field of geological study and rational use of mineral resources.

 

According to the Regulations Derzhheonadr main objectives are:

 

1) implementation of state policy in geological exploration and the rational use of natural resources;

 

2) submission to the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of proposals to ensure public policy in the field of geological study and rational use of mineral resources.

 

Derzhheonadra exercises its authority directly and through the established procedure created regional offices. Derzhheonadra headed by the Chairman, who is appointed and dismissed by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on the Prime Minister of Ukraine made on the basis of proposals of the Minister of Environment and Natural Resources.

 

To prepare recommendations for the performance of tasks in the Service Derzhheonadra may form the panel. Decisions of the Board may be implemented by issuance of an order Derzhheonadr.

 

Limit the number of civil servants and employees Derzhheonadr approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. Structure of the Head of the Derzhheonadr approved in consultation with the Minister of Environment and Natural Resources. The staff list and estimate Derzhheonadr system approved by the Chairman in consultation with the Finance Ministry.

 

According to the Regulations Derzhheonadra a legal entity of public law, has a seal with the State Emblem of Ukraine and its name, its own forms, accounts in the Treasury.
